Things Are Moving And Changing

Here we are back in February the shortest month of the year. For a short month we can sure pack a lot into it. There is Valentine’s Day and Presidents Day. Let’s not forget Ground Hog Day. I will be attending a conference in Denver for a week. In the blink of an eye the month will be over.

Othella the office manager will be moving on to a new opportunity. A year ago, the Lord blessed us with her, and it is hard to see her go, but I know the Lord has great plans for her. I cannot tell you how blessed this ministry has been with her for the last year. The great thing is where the Lord subtracts, he then adds. We are welcoming Lorie Bayless to our team. She has been a part of SOCOYFC for over 20 years. She has a heart for this ministry and will be a great blessing.

The facilities have been in lock down for the past month. Please pray that we will be able to get back in soon. Keep the staff and youth in prayer. The Lord’s servants are standing by. It looks like we will be adding a couple more servant to the role, praise the Lord. We are still in need of many more.

You should have received an email about signing up with King Soopers as a SOCOYFC supporter. This is a great program and doesn’t cost you anything except the time to sign up. King Soopers gives millions of dollars to non-profits. The amount given is based on the number of people signed up and how much shopping they do at King Soopers.

If you have not received an annual donation receipt and need one, please contact us and we will get it to you soon. We are so grateful for all of you that support us through funding. It allows us to do the Lord’s work bringing the Love of God to youth in a very dark place.
